Erin has practiced as a civil defense litigator since 2013, defending a wide variety of third-party liability claims including auto injury, premises liability, professional malpractice, negligent security, medical malpractice, and other general negligence claims. She has also handled long-term care defense, representing nursing homes and assisted living facilities against statutory claims of negligence and wrongful death. Erin has represented clients at trial and arbitration and has litigated numerous complex motions, including punitive damages and arbitration enforcement actions, throughout Central and Southwest Florida.
Originally from Sarasota, Erin is a proud University of Central Florida alumnus. She began her legal career as a paralegal prior to obtaining her juris doctorate from Stetson University’s College of Law. During law school, Erin clerked under the Senior Director of Global Compliance at Jabil, a Fortune 200 company headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida. She also interned at DAC Beachcroft, a Top-25 UK law firm, in the Commercial Litigation and Corporate Dispute Resolution group in London. While there, she worked on the defense of a high-profile directorship-disqualification action and large-volume e-Discovery.
